‘Task Christmas’

A message from Lucy McCann

“I just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who got involved in task Christmas and helped in the various ways: spreading the word, talking to family and friends, making posters and donating gifts. I could tell some children had chosen gifts they would like to receive and that is really thoughtful and kind of them.

Sadly some people receiving these gifts have had really tough events or times happen to them and receiving a gift will have meant a lot to them.

Places presents were given too included: Lancaster and Preston children ward at hospital, Garstang and Morecambe food bank and Ukraine refugees and families who are supported by Lancashire county council who have been domestic violence Victims”

“A saying I believe typifies Task Christmas is- in a world where you can be anything be kind”

Thank you so much

Lucy McCann – Task Christmas

The School Council met on Friday 25th January.  We discussed the plans for the year ahead. We are focusing on gaining school a Healthy Eating Award and we are looking to start growing our own vegetables.

With some of the funds we have raised we are hoping to have a visit from some African Dancers in school.

The first event of the year is the Film night so look out for the flyer!

Egg Decorating Competition

We had some fantastic entries.

We raised £70 which will be shared between the Bone Cancer Trust and and Enrichment Day for the children.
