- Acorn Class – we are settling in.
We have settled in to our new learning environment. We have enjoyed painting, mark making, drawing self portraits, taking selfies, selecting books and exploring our new mud kitchen and reading den outside. We are looking forward to the year ahead.

- Our visit to Humblescough Farm and Forest
Yesterday we visited Humblescough Farm and Forest with Mr Seddon. We really enjoyed our time in the forest. We hunted for Pixie treasure, made Pixie homes, created Goblin faces using clay and made homes for bears. - Acorn Class went minibeast hunting!
This week we have started to look more closely at the minibeasts and insects in our environment. On Thursday we visited the Sensory Garden to search for different creatures. - Acorn Class Trip to Old Holly Farm
Yesterday we had our class trip to Old Holly Farm. This was part of our Animals topic. We had a fantastic day learning all about the different animals and dairy farming.

- Book Day in Acorn Class
Today was world book day. We had a great day dressing up as book characters and bringing in our favourite books from home. We really enjoyed sharing our books with each other.
