- Acorn Class – we are settling in.
We have settled in to our new learning environment. We have enjoyed painting, mark making, drawing self portraits, taking selfies, selecting books and exploring our new mud kitchen and reading den outside. We are looking forward to the year ahead.

- Layers of the Amazon Rainforest
Oak class braved the rain this morning to collect materials to make a collage of the layers of the Amazon Rainforest as part of their Topic work. The children worked hard this afternoon to make a realistic forest floor, understory layer, canopy layer and finally emergent layer.

This week we have started to look more closely at the minibeasts and insects in our environment. On Thursday we visited the Sensory Garden to search for different creatures.
