- Acorn Class – Forest Friday
We had a great time today in our school grounds. Mr Seddon played ‘Fox and Rabbits’ using a blind fold and bells. We then made bird feeders using peanut butter and seeds. The boys in the class were also very keen to add to their ‘Bug Hotel’ they have been making during lunch and playtimes.

- Acorn Trip to Old Holly Farm
Yesterday, Acorn Class visited Old Holly Farm. The children learnt about cows and milking. They enjoyed visiting the milking parlour and tasting ice cream using the milk from the cows at Old Holly Farm. The children also got to experience touching and learning about other animals including chicks, pigs, rabbits and donkeys.

- Ash Class Marathon!
Today the children ran 26.2 miles as part of their sponsored event to raise money towards our 50th birthday celebrations. They loved every minute of the event and displayed a great team spirit. I was incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Well done, Ash Class!

- Learning in outside
Today the we collected lots of different size sticks from around our school grounds. We looked closely at the sticks and ordered them from smallest to largest. We then made different shapes using the sticks. We used our understanding of 2D shapes to help us.
