The children have explored what it would be like for a child in World War Two. We looked at an old suitcase and items they would have taken with them. The children were given a role play card of a child from WWII and they had to speak to each other to find out whether their experience was a positive or negative one.

We then rated their experiences to from very good to very bad to show how the children had different memories of being evacuated and how the government painted a very positive picture.
