Garstang Community Primary School was allocated £9000 Sports Funding for 2013-14. We have used this money in a variety of ways; to increase pupil participation in clubs and competitive activity, to allow staff to undertake CPD to develop their skills, to buy resources and equipment and to cover other expenses such as supply cover and coach travel.
Wyre and Fylde School Sports Partnership
We signed a service level agreement costing £4 000. This provides a comprehensive package of training courses, curriculum support and extra curricular clubs. For 2013-14 the following sports are covered:

We have ordered new resources to ensure all children have access to high quality equipment.
As of March 14 nearly 50% of children were attending a before school sports club, or been involved in school competitive sport. We hope that by the end of the year that figure will be even greater.
